No. 2 - Doremon of my childhood

Persepolis reminds me of childhood.

Doremon and Nobita was my favortite comic book when I was a child. It is a series of short stories about Doremon, a cat robot from 23th century with a lot of magic tools that can turn impossible things into possible, like the time machine that can help Doremon and other characters get back to the past.

One interesting about Doremon is that he is scared of mice.

There are five main characters: Doraemon, Nobita, Xuka, Chaien and Xeko
I have not explained why I mention my favorite childhood comics. When I read the articel about words and pictures, I have learned some interesting facts about the balance and relationship between words and pictures in comics. Some popular combinations are: word specific, picture specific, duo specific, additive, parallel, montage, independent.

In Doremon, the author used multiple types of comic writing as listed above, this is one of the reasons why Doremon has been attracting readers from all ages.

Good girl: Even though I am grown up now, Doremon is still very interesting to me.

Bad girl: Why is that?

Good girl: When reading it, I leave all the pressure behind me, I feel like I am living in my happy childhood without any worries, fears, sorrow.

Bad girl: Reality is still reality. You had better embrace it.

Good girl: I definitely get it. I just need a break for my mind.

Bad girl: Ok, that is fine. Sometimes we have to believe the power of pause. Becoming more by doing less.

P/S: one of the episodes with English subtitle. Enjoy it. :)
